SHS Athletics has always been defined by integrity, toughness, and support by the community. Malcolm Brown was instrumental in involving the community and Shelby has always supported educational needs as it relates to programs or buildings. Our community has always risen to the occasion to help young people enjoy a successful experience. We certainly hope that each person we call on will support this endeavor to support our young people. • WHAT - New Athletic Complex-Donald G. Dedmon Athletic Complex will wrap Camp Fieldhouse with new classroom and athletic training spaces as well as an expanded weight room and turf room. Existing fieldhouse will be renovated to include dressing areas for ALL male and female athletes.

• WHY - Present fieldhouse is outdated and only serves a small portion of the athletes and athletic teams that Shelby High School fields on a yearly basis

• HOW / WHEN - Fundraising efforts are underway led by the founding members of the Shelby High School Athletic Booster Club
